Vetsense Abamec LV Pour-On for Cattle is ideal for the treatment and control of Abamectin sensitive internal and external parasites of dairy and beef cattle. Contains Abamectin (10 g/L), a member of the macrocyclic lactones.
Abamec LV is effective against abamectin sensitive strains of internal and external parasites when applied to the skin along the backline of cattle. Resistance may develop to any chemical.

- For the treatment and control of adult and immature stages of:
- Gastro-Intestinal Roundworms
- Barber's pole worm (Haemonchus placei)
- Small brown stomach worm, including inhibited stages (Ostertagia ostertagi)
- Small intestinal worm (Cooperia punctata)
- Intestinal nematode (Cooperia oncophora)
- Stomach hair worm (Trichostrongylus axei)
- Hookworm (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
- Nodule worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum)
- Whipworm (Trichuris spp.)
- Thin necked intestinal worm (Nematodirus spathiger)
- Intestinal threadworm (Strongyloides papillosus) and Large lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus)
Sucking and Biting Lice
- Long nosed sucking lice (Linognathus vituli)
- Short nosed sucking lice (Haematopinus eurysternus)
- Bitting lice (Bovicola bovis)
- Little sucking lice (Solenopotes capillatus)
Cattle Tick (Boophilus microplus)
Aids in control (Not recommended in strategic dipping programs for cattle tick control).
Sustained Activity
At the recommended dose rate, Vetsense Abamec LV Pour-On for Cattle effectively controls infection with Ostertagia spp. (Small brown stomach worm) acquired up to 14 days after treatment, with Dictyocaulus viviparus (Lungworm) acquired up to 28 days after treatment.

Contraindications
- This product is contraindicated for use in calves under 16 weeks of age or less than 50 kg body weight.
- This product should not be used in dogs, horses or any other pets.
- This product is not recommended for use in goats as safety and efficacy have not been evaluated.
General Directions
Not to be used for any purpose or in any manner contrary to this label unless authorised under the appropriate legislation.
Safety Directions
Poisonous if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When using the product wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves and goggles. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after use. After each day's use, wash gloves, goggles and contaminated clothing.
First Aid Instructions
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 13 11 26. If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly.

Environmental Protection
Abamectin is extremely toxic to aquatic species. Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams or other waterways with the chemical and used containers.
