Equilax

Equilax is a psyllium-enriched supplement that forms a gel matrix in the digestive tract, helping to bind and remove ingested sand, dirt and debris. Ideal for horses grazing in sandy or dry environments, regular use helps prevent build-up by clearing material before it accumulates and causes complications. It can also be used during active sand impaction to support clearance from the digestive system.

Directions for Use:

Equilax pellets can bemixed with regular foodor fed directly from the hand as a treat.

Maintenance Dose:

Feed 0.5g per kilogram of body weight twice weekly.

Active Sand Colic Dose:

Feed 1g per kilogram of body weight daily for 4 days.

Upon completion of an Active Sand Colic Dose, resume feeding a Maintenance Dose to prevent ongoing issues. For severe cases of sand enteropathy, seek immediate veterinary advice.
