A practical and naturally hypoallergenic mat for any pet, inside the 100% biodegradable cover is an 8cm thick piece of foam that has been treated to control dust mites and other household bugs that trigger allergies and asthma, as well as bad odours and mould. Traditionally used in kennels and crates as it can hold its own when exposed to moisture and the elements, this mat is versatile and can be used indoors and outdoors.

All our hessian products are treated with natural vegetable oils and pet-safe vegetable dyes, no harsh chemicals.

Some imported hessian products are treated with formaldehyde, a chemical used to make fabrics more resistant to wrinkles, shrinking, and water. While this might sound convenient, it comes at a cost: formaldehyde has been linked to skin irritation, respiratory issues, and long-term health concerns for both pets and humans.

100% biodegradeable and treated with vegetable oils, pet-safe dyes and no nasty chemicals, your old used hessian cover can be composted or used in the garden safely after use - they make a great weed mat! Simply remove the foam and make sure to cut off any care tabs before you do.
