Supplementation Guidelines

Each level scoopful of Power and Protect provides 15 grams.

For horses (4000-650 kg body weight), mix Power and Protect into the daily feed with the following guidelines.

Routine Supplementation: 15 grams is normally provided 2-3 times a week on days of hard exercise, when muscle fatigue or soreness may occur.

Muscle Problems: One scoop (15 grams) of Power and Protect every day for horses which experience 'tying-up' (Exertional Rhabdomyolysis, 'Set-fast') or poor muscle health and function that affects their ability to perform. These horses may often be sore or 'hard' in the muscles, lack stamina or recover poorly from regular hard training, racing, endurance or Equestrian competition.

Pre-Race or Before Competition Supplementation: 30 grams of Power and Protect each day for 3 days before racing, endurance or moderate to intense equestrian competition.

Post-Race or After Competition Supplementation: 30 grams Power and Protect for 3 days following racing or an event to help recovery and turn-around after the event.
