*The quantity of Fibressential® provided can be adjusted depending on the goal. If needing a soakable fibre to mix in supplements, use the lower end of the feeding rate. If looking to add an additional fibre source to help weight maintenance you can feed to the mid-upper levels depending on desired weight gain. If feeding to the upper level, we recommend splitting the feed into at least two meals per day. Fibressential® is a supplementary feed and is designed to be fed alongside one of Hygain®’s fully fortified options.

Feeding Tips:

  • Introduce Fibressential® to your horse's diet gradually over a 7 - 14 day period.
  • Feed by weight and not by volume.
  • Feed a minimum of 1.5% of your horse's body weight daily as roughage.
  • Horses have a small stomach, so feed little and often.
  • Ensure horses have access to clean water.
  • Adjust feed intake according to age, breed, appetite, activity level, climate and body condition.
