FeedRite BreedRite Mix
FeedRite BreedRite Mix is specifically formulated for breeding mares and young growing horses. It is also suitable for stallions at work.
The product supplies a carefully balanced combination of the nutrients needed to support fertility, pregnancy, lactation and growth.
It incorporates micronised and steam rolled cereal grains and legumes to maximise digestibility and palatability.

Feeding Guide
FeedRite BreedRite Mix should normally be fed at following approximate rates in conjunction with good quality roughages (e.g. lucerne chaff or hay, cereal chaff, oaten hay, pasture or meadow hay):

- Dry Mares 2kg to 3kg
- Early Pregnant Mares 2kg to 4kg
- Late Pregnant Mares 3kg to 5kg
- Lactating Mares 4kg to 6kg
- Weanlings from 4 to 6 months of age 2kg to 3kg
- Weanlings from 6 months to 12 months 2.5kg to 3kg
- Yearlings 3kg to 4kg
- Working Stallions 4kg to 5kg
Note:
- Introduce FeedRite BreedRite Mix gradually over a one to two-week period.
- Adjust feed allowance according to body condition and workload.
- Ensure your horse receives adequate amounts of roughage (an amount of dry roughage equivalents to at least 1% or more of the horse's bodyweight should be fed daily).
- Make sure your horse has access to fresh clean water.
- Do not supplement your horse's diet with extra trace minerals, such as selenium, unless instructed to do so by a veterinarian or equine nutritionist.

Do Not Feed to Sheep
This product contains supplemental copper at levels that may be toxic to sheep.
