Survives a good Chomp and continues to squeeeeeeKA
By: Liz on 1 January 2026This Chase and Chomp ball has to be one of the best toys I've purchased for my mini dachshund. Bailey loves squeaky toys, but half the attraction and pleasure for this mini raptor is to disembowel the squeaker. Most balls won't get disembowelled, but the squeaker will detach and disappear if it goes into the belly of the ball. Then there's the fluffies with internal squeakers. You know the ones... white teeny bits o' fluff from one end of the house to the other. My eRobot hates it. I tell this whinging robot cleaner that it "should be relieved it's not poop!" Anyway, the double ball design is genius. A free-rolling, squeaky ball inside a strong silicone ball provides protection to the squeakers and defence against sharp teeth. The silicone isn't impervious; there are some tiny bite marks. They resemble a small three-point stone crack in a windshield. Some of these bite marks allow a little air through, but the integrity of the outer ball remains. Now, a bonus to the awesome. The moulded design of the silicon allows the internal ball to freely roll around. This results in the squeaker being in different positions, which means the squeaker's air supply changes pressure. Why is this so awesome? The tone of the squeeeeeeKAAA changes. Is it new prey still fighting?... ....or does it sound like it's finally d¥¡ng.... I have to get another one. Should I get a large? It would keep my mini predator trying.... and trying...
